This original brochure is autographed by Apollo 16 Lunar Module Pilot (LMP) Brigadier General Charles M. ("Charlie") Duke, Jr. (USAF, Ret.). On April 20th, 1972, Duke and John Young piloted Lunar Module Number 11 Orion down to the Descartes region of the rugged Lunar highlands. Duke and Young spent 71 hours and 14 minutes on the lunar surface. The Lunar Module was designed and built by Thomas J. Kelley and his team at Grumman Aerospace Corporation, located in Bethpage, NY. This brochure features 8 clear acetate pages with detailed color illustrations of the Lunar Module (LM) having 118 numbered components which are indentified by a legend on the trailing end paper.
